PPL Test Day Set!

I have been quite because not much has been happening on the flying front, this is set to change this weekend. The date for my PPL test has been set,  16 December 2012 at 12:00. I am praying for good weather and that the plane doesn’t suddenly have to go into maintenance!

If the mock test is anything to go by, I should be fine for the final PPL test. I have already completed the briefing with my Grade II instructor so just the flying part remains, the best part really 🙂

Anyone have any tips for me for Sunday, please do not hesitate to share. My routing will be FACG (Grand Central)- HBV- FAPN (Pilansberg)- Bela Bela and back. I know I need to brush up on some of the Cessna 172 technical details before Sunday but other than that the day is finally around the corner.

I started this amazing journey on the 21st of April of this year, 2012, and couldn’t be happier. I have enjoyed every minute of it and am looking forward to completing my night rating and then my commercial license.

I will post again after Sunday with a full blow by blow account of the events. Wish me luck!!
